My interest's lie in the N&W Pocahontas district of West Virginia. Circa late to mid 1950's in the last days of steam. This is a coal hauling railroad with double track and many middle track sidings. It is 107 miles long. The starting point in the West is Williamson and ends in Bluefield. Ruling grade is 1-1.5 percent and it follows river basins for most of it's run. There are many tunnels, with one very long one near the end of the run into Bluefield. Coal loaders are just about everywhere, and the railroad serves practically all of them.

Ain't She Pretty! Number 128 backs to the water plug.
